On Friday 31st January Stroud Potato and Seed Swap celebrated their 10th anniversary!

Located in the town church hall and at Stroud Farmer’s Market, the event raised funds and awareness for Transition Town Stroud and Down to Earth, an organisation which supports the Stroud Community Seed Bank amongst other projects. 26 varieties of potato and diverse, locally saved seed was swapped amongst enthusiastic gardeners who grow their own food.

The event is always an inspiring time for volunteers and the public. Between the potato cake sampling, knowledge sharing and passion for home produce, it was a great day!
