Since 2017, the Seed Sovereignty Programme has worked to increase the awareness and production of open-pollinated, agroecological seed in the UK and Ireland.

Now we are looking for three new coordinators to join our Seed Sovereignty UK and Ireland team. The posts, located in Southeast England, Northern England, and Lowland Scotland, will be to coordinate the work of the programme in these various regions.

The successful candidates will work with our passionate team which is based remotely across the UK and Ireland to collaborate on the overall direction of the programme and strategic events and initiatives, while working locally to support and develop seed production, seed saving training and community seed saving.

As the needs of each region are unique, the coordinators will take an individual approach to their work to best support this development. We’re looking for proactive, collaborative people who are confident working independently.

Now more than ever, it is vital that we rebuild our seed sovereignty and enrich the diversity of our seed grown in the UK and Ireland. We believe that a seed revolution starts with seed – will you join us?

To apply, please send your CV, a covering letter and the application form, to Cristina Flores – cristina@gaianet.org— by midday on Monday the 18th of May 2020.
